Join the Stanton Steamers Social Running Group!
Looking for a free, friendly and supportive running community? Stanton Steamers welcomes runners of every age and ability.
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced runner, everyone is welcome, and no one is ever left behind.

When: Every Tuesday at 6:45 PM
Where: Stanton Recreation Ground Car Park (Stanton, Suffolk, IP31 2BX)
Distance: 5K (3.1 miles)
We run all year round—rain or shine!

✅ All paces welcome – You don’t need to be fast. If you can jog, you’ll fit in perfectly
✅ Supportive group – We encourage, chat, and celebrate everyone
✅ Halfway regroup – We stop halfway so everyone stays together
✅ Extra runs – Sometimes members arrange longer or weekend runs
✅ We are parkrun friendly – Many of us appear at Thetford, Bury or Thornham Walks on Saturday mornings (not organised, it just happens)
